What is the Succession theme song and who wrote it?

The Succession theme song was written by the Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning composer Nicholas Britell.

The piece of music, a mixture of courtly classical tones with hip-hop beats, won an Emmy for best Main Title Theme Music in a TV series. 

Succession season 3 release date

J. Smith-Cameron, who plays WayStar employee Gerri Kellman in the show, confirmed that filming for season thee started in late November 2020 after the pandemic posed problems for the production.

However, even though filming is underway for the next instalment of Succession, an exact release date for season 3 is yet to be confirmed.

Whether production will be forced to pause because of the impact of the pandemic on the show's primary filming location – New York – is not clear at this time. But fans hope that Succession season 3 will air at some point in 2021.
