The President has a favorite celebrity—on Twitter anyway—and that's Chrissy Teigen
Chrissy Teigen is the only celebrity to be followed by President Biden.
Chrissy Teigen’s social media status has skyrocketed after becoming the only celebrity to be followed by President Biden on Twitter.
The 35-year-old TV personality, who had spent the day celebrating the inauguration in Washington D.C., could not contain her excitement at the monumental honor.
"OH MY GOD !!!!!!!!!!" she tweeted, alongside a screenshot of her name in President Biden’s followers’ list. "My heart oh my god lmao I can finally see the president’s tweets and they probably won’t be unhinged."

Chrissy, who was blocked by Donald Trump in 2017 for criticizing his presidency, was determined to build a better online rapport with President Biden — even asking the man himself to click follow.
"Hello @joebiden I have been blocked by the president for four years can I get a follow plz," she tweeted last Wednesday.
The cheeky request, which was liked over 637k times, didn't go unnoticed by the POTUS Twitter team. Chrissy, who boasts a whopping 13.6m followers herself, has officially been added to President Biden's following list of just 13 accounts.

As the only celebrity to make the cut, Chrissy's name is next to several of the president's political aides, including Vice President Kamala Harris and FLOTUS Dr. Jill Biden.
Her new Internet friend's confirmation was undeniably overwhelming for Chrissy, who has spent the last four years banned by the POTUS Twitter. With the sudden realization that President Biden would now see her words, Chrissy toyed with the idea of abandoning the platform altogether.
"I should prob never tweet again," she wrote.
Luckily, she quickly set aside that thought. Just hours later, Chrissy retweeted Seth Rogan's scathing message towards Ted Cruz, in which he blasts him as a fascist and a white supremacist. "Just wanted Potus to see this lol," the outspoken influencer captioned it.
Never one to hold back her views, Chrissy has always been an open book with her fanbase. She has consistently impressed followers with her willingness to discuss sensitive issues and to share her struggles candidly.
After bringing attention to miscarriage after losing her pregnancy in September, Chrissy recently opened up about her sobriety experience. She celebrated giving up alcohol during a Washington memorial trip with her husband, John Legend, and two children.

Let's hope Chrissy won't have to wait long to share a non-alcoholic toast with her newfound presidential friend.
