Strictly's Rose and Giovanni receive huge accolade for their most passionate dance
Strictly's Rose and Giovanni have received a huge award to celebrate their passionate dance that paid tribute to the deaf community
Giovanni Pernice and Rose Ayling-Ellis have received an incredible award for their iconic dance on Strictly that paid tribute to the deaf community.
Heat Magazine has awarded Rose and Giovanni's silent dance on Strictly Come Dancing with the 'TV moment of the year.'
The magazine said their dance to Clean Bandit's Symphony was 'breathtaking' with the 10 seconds of silence in the middle of the routine (that paid tribute to the deaf community) cinching the win as one of the most-talked-about emotional moments on television this year.
Giovanni and Rose took to social media to share the news of the award and thanked the outlet and their fans for appreciating their work.
The caption of the post from Giovanni read, "⭐️TV MOMENT OF THE YEAR⭐️ Thank you so much to @heatworld for this award, we are very grateful. This dance meant so much to us and we are so proud that we could show a glimpse into Rose’s world and represent the deaf community in this way. We will both remember this “unmissable moment” forever.♥️"

Rose and Giovanni say their bond is about 'more than dancing' and have both spoken about how important their impact on the deaf community has been for them.
Although the couple has been accused of falling victim to the Strictly curse, the pair have maintained that they are simply just partners on the dancefloor and Giovanni recently released a statement that put dating rumors to bed.
The couple is in a fantastic position for the semi-finals this weekend and a body language expert has revealed that their dancing chemistry is strong enough to see them to the final.
