We finally have a hint as to when Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are officially going to tie the knot. Last year, Blake popped the question to Gwen, but since then, there hasn't been talk about an actual date.

Well, we may have an answer now. During an interview with TODAY's Hoda Kotb, Blake talked about his five-year relationship with Gwen and when he sees the two of them getting married.

"I'm afraid if she and I wait until next November, then I'm right back into 'The Voice' cycle again, and I really want to be able to have plenty of time before and after, so hopefully this summer," said Blake. "I think we're right here at the point with COVID, it looks like it may be OK, but don't know, so that's tentatively the plan."

We may not have an exact date yet but based on Blake's answer, we can at least get excited about a potential summer wedding.

Blake and Gwen's musical entertainment has also been a hot topic, with people speculating on who will perform. Blake joked that the couple basically has a "Coachella" lineup with some of the hottest stars volunteering to perform.

Some of the volunteers include Miley Cyrus and Maroon 5's Adam Levine, who was also a judge on 'The Voice' with Blake.

"I'd love to be able to take everybody up on their offer and have this amazing concert wedding, but you know how it is," Blake explained. "We're just waiting every day just like everybody else to see what our summer is gonna look like and then go from there."

Blake also described a future with Gwen where the two are retired from music.

"I'd like to see that sooner than later," he said. "We've both pretty much taken it to the limit as far as our careers go and touring and now the television thing. It's been fortunate to accomplish a lot of things, hopefully, at some point, we'll get a chance to live some life. And I think we're both ready for that, honestly."
