Rihanna, the richest female musician in the world, and A$AP Rocky have been friends for nearly a decade and dating for a few years.
In May 2021, Rocky confirmed their relationship during an interview with GQ as he spoke gingerly about his relationship with the singer. In the interview, the rapper reportedly was 'beaming like a teenager whose crush just accepted his prom invite' and when he referred to Rihanna he said that she was “The love of [his] life,” and he called her, “My lady.”

The couple announced their pregnancy on Monday, January 31, 2022. The couple was shot by the celebrity photographer Miles Diggs who showcased the couple in designer clothing as they walked the streets of Harlem and cradled Rihanna's baby bump.
Rocky wore a Carharrt jacket with vinyl trousers and Rihanna wore loose-fit jeans and an oversized pink coat that was left partially open to reveal her bump. The singer wore her long hair in a half-up bun and wore a Christian Lacroix necklace so that her bump was covered with a variety of gemstones.
