Wordle 377 has stumped a number of players of the online word game, as many struggled to solve the five-letter word 'pinto' and some players claimed the word was actually 'made up.'

Words such as gawky, drollbrink, and awful are all five-letter words that have caused anger from Wordle fans in recent weeks as players have been unsuccessful when attempting to solve the curveball words in the game.

Much like these words, 'pinto'  was another curveball that fans struggled with for wordle challenge 377. This led many players to take to social media and complain about this most recent challenge which has ruined streaks. Some players went so far as to complain that this challenge was not even a real word!

"Wordle 377 4/6 I just guessed this. Word sounds kinda fake, but oh well, you learn something new every day #Wordle, said another.

Others were insistent that they believed pinto is a word, just not one that appears in the English dictionary.

"Wordle 377 4/6 I call bullsh*t. It isn’t English. #wordle," said one player on Twitter.

"This is more typically a Spanish word? Terrible use of language Wordle 377 4/6," said another.

"Wordle 377 X 4/6 I was today years old when I learned that this is an English word lol. Anyways, streak continues! #Wordle377," said yet another player. So is pinto an English word? And what does pint actually mean?

Pinto definition

As some players believed this was a 'made-up' word, and others believed it was not in the English dictionary, many Wordle players struggled to solve this most recent puzzle on Friday, July 1, 2022. If you were one of these people, don't worry! You are not alone.

Pinto is, in fact, a word in the English dictionary and it means, 'marked with spots of white and other colors' ie: mottled or spotted. This is why you may have pinto beans or pinto horses, both of which are speckled.
