Jennifer Lopez celebrates 30 years in the entertainment industry, and everyone from Michelle Obama to Ben Affleck is in total awe of her
Tom Ford, Ryan Seacrest, and Charlize Theron also weighed in on the one and only J. Lo

Jennifer Lopez is celebrating a huge milestone: 30 years as a performer. In honor of the special occasion, InStyle has featured the actress and singer on its May cover. But this isn't your typical celeb q&a.
Rather than follow the typical protocol for a celebrity profile piece, editors were tasked with speaking to co-stars, music collabs, exes, and former first ladies about J.Lo, and let's just say, no one can utter a bad thing about the Bronx-born starlet. Quote after quote spews nothing less than love, respect, and admiration.

The interviewees—including Michelle Obama, Tom Ford, Ryan Seacrest, Marc Anthony, Fat Joe, and Charlize Theron, among others—weigh in on everything: the singer and actress' effortless glow (her skincare routine is surprisingly simple), her ambition, her children, and her awesome style. (We'll forever try to emulate that Inauguration Day hairdo.)
Quite bluntly, Ben Affleck, J.Lo's former fiancé, asked, "Where are you keeping the fountain of youth? Why do you look the same as you did in 2003, and it kind of looks like I'm in my 40s…at best?"
Meanwhile, Seacrest offers some chuckles, too "She [Jennifer] said, 'Why are you depriving? Just have a bite of the cookie, Ryan. You don't have to have the whole cookie.' And so I live my life now trying to think about having a bite of the cookie, not the whole cookie. It's not going so well."
It's not uncommon to find adjectives like "powerhouse," "icon," and other synonyms throughout the piece. However, despite the kind words, the star says she—first and foremost—is grateful.
"I'm interested in growing and evolving every day, being better as a person, better at what I do, and better at being a mom," she said.
This is one of the many reasons why we love you, J. Lo!
