Jennifer Aniston has revealed a surprising new hobby that has kept her occupied during the lockdown.

The Friends actress has recently been back filming the second series of The Morning Show for Apple TV but during the pandemic, she has a secret hobby that's been keeping her busy outside of filming.

Jen, 52, took to her Instagram Instastory to share the news that American actor Jason Bateman was filming his Golden Globes appearance from her home and while she allowed him to use her luxurious room as a backdrop, she also revealed one of her own hidden skills.

The actress uploaded a series of behind-the-scenes snaps and - aside from pointing out a sweet framed photo of her and her dad John which was placed on the dining table - Jennifer showed what effort really goes into filming.

She wrote, 'Bateman came over and brought the @goldenglobes with him. Dad and I made a lil cameo,' as a caption for the first photo, which showed the Ozark star sat in front of a laptop raised on books with his daughters Francesca, 14, and Maple, 9 sat beside him.

But it's Jen's second upload, a video clip, of Jason, who was nominated for Best Actor in a TV Series, Drama, for his turn as Martin 'Marty' Byrde on Ozark sitting behind a laptop while a crew member seemingly used a piece of Aniston’s art as a fill-in for a reflector, that gave us the biggest insight into Jennifer's lockdown activities.

With the ring light set up on a tripod, the crew member held a canvas painting of a colorful frog wafting it to reflect the light ahead of filming. To which Jennifer candidly captioned, 'My paint by number finally found its calling,' followed by an emoji of a frog and a paint pallet.

Jennifer has previously hinted at her artistic passions. In 2018 she told InStyle, "Twelve years ago I had a beautiful art studio, and that was my dream then. I still want to take the time to have those moments for myself. I had a wheel, and I had a bunch of clay." And her ex-Brad Pitt was keen to become a sculptor himself.

For anyone wondering what Jason was doing at Jen's house, the pair have been longtime friends - having previously appeared in several projects together over the years, including the comedies The Switch and Horrible Bosses.

And the third image Jen uploaded showed three people in the shot helping Jason to create the best recording - from sound, lights, and camera, to which Jen captioned, 'Takes a village...'

It's the first time the Golden Globes have been hosted virtually, with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler co-hosted Sunday’s first-ever virtually telecast Golden Globes from opposite coasts, with Tina in New York and Amy in Los Angeles.

But the star failed to take home a gong, as fans took to social media to claim he was "robbed" for not receiving an accolade for his work.

One disappointed fan wrote, 'Emma and Josh probably saved The Crown S4. But getting acting awards for that? Jason Bateman and Laura Linney were robbed. #Ozark #GoldenGlobes' and another agreed and added, 'Jason Bateman keeps getting robbed at the Golden Globes I hate it here.'

Meanwhile, another was happy to see him hanging out with Jen, and added, 'Jason Bateman going to Jennifer Aniston's house for the Golden Globes made me very happy.'
