Gwen Stefani just asked this celebrity to be her maid of honor
You'll never guess who it is.

Gwen Stefani's maid of honor has just been revealed and it seems that she's bestowed the big honor to Ellen DeGeneres.
Fans will recall that in October 2020, Stefani captioned a pic of her engagement announcement on Instagram: “@blakeshelton yes please." Meanwhile the country star wrote on own post, “Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020 … And the rest of my life … I love you. I heard a YES!”
With rumours that the No Doubt lead singer and Shelton will most likely tie the knot this year, speculation has been mounting about where the venue will be, who will be on the superstar guest list and, of course, what dress Stefani will choose (she famously wore a pink ombre number for her nuptials to Gavin Rossdale).

Stefani has already clarified what's most important on the big day. During an On Air With Ryan Seacreast interview in December 2020, she touchingly said: "I would say I just want my parents there at this point. My parents wouldn’t come to Thanksgiving because they were so scared [about the pandemic], so really would rather it not be a COVID situation. I would rather not have masks and that kind of thing.”
And now Stefani has announced who she'd like to head up her bridal party. During the Wednesday, March 17 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the "Hollaback Girl" singer requested the daytime talk show host step up as maid of honor.
DeGeneres jokingly began, "You haven't been here since you've been engaged—what's happening with the wedding planning? I know Miley Cyrus said that she would sing at your wedding. Is there anything I can do?"
Stefani replied, "I was thinking about that a lot and I was thinking, I was picturing like a mauve, like, bride's maid. Maybe maid of honor, you know? We can put some extensions in and we can do—make it full, like, full flower arrangements. All that stuff."
Of course, Degeneres agreed to the proposition, telling the pop star, "Just tell me the time and the place and I will be there." Adding, "I don't mind doing any of that for you, because you're my friend and anything you ask, I will wear. I will put extensions in my hair. Anything at all. That's how much I love you Gwen."
Now that's a look we can't wait for!
