Britney Spears reveals she had 'bad experiences' with 'Botox' and 'needles'
Britney has found an alternative to Botox after enduring a negative experience with the drug
Britney Spears has admitted to using Botox in her latest social media update, revealing that she's had 'really bad experiences' with the popular cosmetic procedure in the past.
The US pop star took to Instagram this weekend to sing the praises of her most recent beauty treatment—as well as to lament the failure of some of her previous ones.
In a lengthy post to her 39m followers on Sunday, the Toxic singer hailed renowned celebrity makeup artist Iván Pol for helping her to "feel stunning" with his signature Beauty Sandwich method.
Similar to the Aqua-gold facial, this Botox alternative has been making the rounds in Hollywood ever since it launched in 2019, and with Britney's stamp of approval now confirmed, it looks like it's about to get a whole lot more popular.

"You’re a genius," she gushed to Iván. "Wow is all I can say!!!! You made me feel stunning without even lifting a finger or putting on a lick of makeup." The Beauty Sandwich was developed by Iván using radiofrequency technology, rather than syringes, to target wrinkles and volume loss in aging skin. It costs between $850 and $1400 a session and currently has a lengthy waiting list of hopeful clients.
Britney, who turned 40 in December, went on to thank longtime friend, Paris Hilton, for introducing her to Iván. Perhaps inspired by the results of Jennifer Aniston's smooth skin facial tool, the Grammy-award winner seems keen to oust Botox from her beauty routine—even sharing negative memories of getting injections to achieve a more youthful look in the past.
"I’ve done needles and botox and have had some really bad experiences … but this was with no needles and it’s like a miracle because I look as though I’m 22 in 2022 lol," she wrote.

Britney also revealed that Sam Asghari, her fiancé, was impressed with the finished look.
"Even my fiancé was like “Wait let me see you again baby you look beautiful” !!!" the mom-of-two said.
Paris Hilton was quick to respond to Britney's shoutout, commenting, "Love you sis🥰 So happy you loved the facial! ✨Ivan @thebeautysandwich is so amazing!"
The light-hearted update comes amid an alleged feud between the American superstar and the rest of the Spears family. Britney hit back at her sister Jamie-Lynn on Friday, after the former Zoey 101 star claimed the singer locked them both in a room together while she held a knife.
Britney denies the incident ever happened, calling her youngest sibling's accusations "a new level of low."
