Adam Peaty 'has words' with mum after her Strictly fix claims
Adam Peaty's mum slammed Strictly after her son got voted out off the competition—making allegations against the show and its judges
Adam Peaty's mum caused a furor on Twitter after making shocking allegations against the Strictly Come Dancing judges and the show itself. Following the incident, Adam spoke out on the BBC Breakfast show.
Strictly's most popular couples were revealed after public vote figures leaked, and among those were Adam and his partner Katya Jones. So needless to say, many were shocked following their departure.
The pair scored only 27 points from the judges, but despite the judges being responsible in part for their low marking—Craig Revel Horwood slammed Strictly viewers as they left the competition.

Nobody was quite as furious as Adam's mum Caroline, who took to her Twitter account to complain about the show and its results.
Her claims received an aggressive online backlash from some and passionate support from others and after the dust had settled, Adam had his own say on the matter while he appeared on BBC Breakfast.
Proud @adam_peaty and @Mrs_katjones such an amazing partnership and @Mrs_katjones you have taught my baby boy how to dance, thank you x Total fix and I’m not buying the public vote 👎@bbcstrictly @Mavise42Mavis @MichaelGunning1 @jademist_janetNovember 7, 2021
Host Charlie Stayt addressed the elephant in the room saying, "Can I ask you one question, we need to get it out the way really."
"Mums always massively support their children," he continued, "and I'm sure your mum all the way through everything you've ever done, the amazing things you've done, she's supported you."

Charlie added, "She said some things about your exit from Strictly, so it's only right you get the chance to."
Adam answered, "I agree with you that mums are always going to support their own, she wanted to see me every Saturday night. You know how mums get."
"Bless her, I love her to bits, she loves me to bits. But I think she does want me to do a paso. That's all she wanted me to do!" he added.
The Olympian was a hit with fans from the beginning of the show. So much so that Strictly Come Dancing fans compared Adam Peaty to former champ after his gyrating performance. As time went on, their moves on and off the dancefloor gained lots of attention, after Adam Peaty admitted he can see why the Strictly curse happens. And that was before his girlfriend reacted to his near kiss with Katya Jones!
Adam continued to explain that if anyone can lose well, it's him—and that all of those remaining deserve their place there.
"Some of the dancers there... my jaw is dropping," he added. "I will always get behind everyone on the show."
Host Naga Munchetty pressed further adding, "You've answered that very diplomatically, have you had words with your mother?"
Adam, respecting his mum's freedom to have her own opinion replied, "Well, yeah... but you know, it is the way it is, isn't it? I don't want to censor anyone."
"She's got her thoughts, I've got mine," he added philosophically. "My thought is the most important one to me, and I had the most incredible time."
