New York Fashion Week has been and gone, and London Fashion Week is almost upon us. It can only mean one thing – crowds of style mavens will descend upon London in all their finery to showcase the hottest new trends for next season.
And this year, there really is something for everyone. No longer will the average women feel disscociated from fashion week’s long limbs and high heels – thanks to Plus Size Fashion Week, women everywhere can feel that they’re being represented on the catwalks.
Plus Size Fashion Week was created in 2012 with the objective that plus size fashion should run alongside mainstream, and is dedicated to to showcasing and supporting plus size women’s fashion and promoting a healthy and positive body image. High street brands showcased their latest collections – and we fell for them all! But it wasn’t just us – over 300 guests including press, buyers and bloggers gathered to prove that plus size clothing most certainly has a place in the fashion world.
Evans showed they know their trends for this season – showing a range of gorgeous knitwear, boho dresses and evening styles that will really stand out. This grey roll neck jumper has definitely made it onto our wishlist!
Evans know the power of colour blocking, as seen on this gorgeous dress.
And don’t forget about boho! This trend is going nowhere – as this flattering sleeved shift dress proves.
