When it comes to festive dressing, there really is no better place to look than high-street giant Marks & Spencer.

They've been winning over fashions fans across the nation with their latest offerings - in particular, their stunning constellation dress, £45, which sold out almost instantly each time it was released.

And now, it seems that one of their most festive dresses is set to do the same.

M&S's red, velvet maxi dress, the perfect option for the Christmas season, is going down a storm with customers - and we can completely see why.

The deep-red number with fashion-forward, fluted sleeves is comfy yet flattering, and would be the ideal outfit to take you from the dinner table to Christmas party this season.

And customers are already penning hugely positive reviews on the dress, praising its fit and colour. On Marks & Spencer's website, one wrote, "Love this dress. The drawstring waist gives you flexibility on how you want the dress to look."

While another said, "Great colour, interesting design, easy to wear. The drawstring waist was not a problem for me, it gave the waist comfortable definition."

The dress is sold for £59 - a pretty reasonable price for the perfect party dress.

M&S's velvet number has reportedly gone down a storm with fashion insiders already, and the dress is quickly selling out online.

So if you want it, you'll need to hurry! It's already sold out in sizes 8-12 online, but is still available in sizes 14-22, and is widely available in all sizes in Marks & Spencer shops all over the UK.

However, if you miss out on this one, Marks & Spencer are also soon to release a blush pink dress that had fashion fans raving earlier this month.

The relaxed pink number was debuted at the retailer's Spring/Summer preview, and won huge praise from fans online desperate to get their hands on it.

Sadly, it's not available to buy until February, so we've got a little longer to wait for this one.

Will you be turning to Marks & Spencer for your Christmas outfits?
