With research suggesting 90% of British women are wearing the wrong size bra, its time we got a helping hand to measure the right bra!
Boux Avenue has launched it's first online bra fit finder to help customers find the best bra for them. You can measure you bra size at home in less than a minute.
Are you sick and tired of that underwired bra digging you in your ribs? Or maybe you're spilling out of your busty bra for all the wrong reasons. Well fear not as Boux Avenue has taken steps to equip us with the know how - when it comes to measuring for that perfect fit.
With changing rooms closed due to Covid-19, buying a comfy bra has become trickier as professional bra fittings have been put firmly on hold for the foreseeable future. But forget searching for a 'how to' tutorial video on YouTube while holding a tape measure in the other hand. The lingerie firm has launched a life-changing new service and it's available online.
A spokeswoman for Boux Avenue explained, 'The team at Boux Avenue have worked hard to develop the helpful online service, to continue to meet their customers’ ever-changing needs in the current climate. Priding themselves in offering every customer an expert bra fit, Boux Avenue’s easy-to-use Online Bra Fit Finder enables customers to measure themselves at home comfortably and quickly, with just six simple questions based on both size and shape.'
Boux Avenue is the only lingerie brand to have their store staff trained by a City and Guilds-accredited training programme. Boux’s Bra Fit Finder also includes exclusive expert tips and advice alongside each step, from the brand’s Bra Fit Ambassadors.
So how does the Boux Avenue Bra Fit finder work?
Simply visit the website using the link above and answer a few simple questions starting with your under band size and cup size. If you're not sure you can watch their very useful measuring video.
Choose your current underwear brand before proceeding to the next step.
A mirror might be useful here, as you're asked to identify from the images which is your under band fitting right now. Then it's on to the straps - do they dig in, are they loose or just right?
You are then asked to choose which images best describes your cup fit - from gaping a lot to overflowing a lot - make sure you're honest with your answers!
The centre front fitting of your bra is the next vital indication - choose whether it's sitting comfortably - any gaps are a tell-tale sign.
Next it's on to breast shape - and if you've never noticed then it's time to take a good look in the mirror!
And after that, you're ready to get your result for which you will need to sign in to your account or quickly register - and it's completely free to try.
Once you have your size results and bra style, you can browse away at their ranges.
