Sandra Bullock's £14 lip gloss is gently plumping and shine-boosting - and we just spotted it on the set of Practical Magic 2

Spotted on set: the lip product Sandra Bullock and her on-screen counterpart, Sally Owens, seemingly have in common...

Sandra Bullock just shared the contents of the bag she uses as Sally Owens in Practical Magic 2, and along with this A-lister's hair oil, we think we've spotted a very budget-friendly plumping lip gloss amongst the witchy treasures.

As beauty journalists, we're constantly in pursuit of celebrity-loved and approved formulas. Whether it's the best long-lasting lipstick they swear by or the best foundation they apply. Not the ones they are paid to endorse, of course, but the ones they actually use in their everyday routines. Sometimes they list them off in interviews, but more often than not, we're catching glimpses of their favourites in social posts, requiring us to do a lot of tactical pausing and zooming. Exhibit A: Sandra Bullock's Instagram Reel on August 22nd, where she shared the contents of her handbag.

Though, as she explains in the video, technically it isn't all hers, but rather that of her Practical Magic character, Sally Owens (who she's reprising in the upcoming sequel). And while the clip focused on Jennifer Aniston's haircare brand LolaVie, specifically the hair oil, our beauty-detective eye snagged on another beauty buy.

Appearing on the table as Bullock emptied the contents of her bag, we spotted a pink lip gloss, which we strongly suspect to be Sephora's Outrageous Plump Effect Gloss in the shade Pink Pout. The packaging does seem to line up, and there's something about it being in that iconic kitchen and movie set in general that just makes us want it all the more.

The lippie in question is available in an array of tints and delivers both a high-shine finish and plumping effect. Alas, there's no real magic here, just a shimmery, magnifying formula that gives the appearance of fuller and very juicy-looking lips - but we'll take it, especially for under the £14 mark.

Alternatives to Sandra Bullock's plumping lip gloss

For an alternative to Sephora's gloss or in case you're looking to build up your collection, we've rounded up a few more options - all of which offer a shiny, plumping effect and flattering tint - for every budget.
