Holly Willoughby has the prettiest solution to dry lips – and fans think they've worked out the exact rose-tinted balm she uses
Conditioning, plumping, and softly tinted, Holly Willoughby's go-to lip balm is an everyday essential
Unlike a matte lipstick that you might not reach for every day, a lip balm is one of those easy, swipe-on-and-go products that always proves useful. More so when it boasts a glassy shine and rosy tint like Holly Willoughby's.
While, of course, the best long-lasting lipsticks always have their place, sometimes all you really need is a multi-tasking lip balm to achieve a chic look (and one that also fends off chapped skin), as Willoughby proves. Taking to Instagram to discuss her new YouTube show, Holly Willoughby Together, whilst also getting ready to go out to lunch with friends, the presenter gave us a sneak peek of her go-to lippie. As she chatted to the camera, she could be seen opening a pot of tinted balm and applying it to her lips with a finger, and fans were quick to theorise about what it was in the comments.
One wrote, "Do I spy my fave Tropic Lip Fudge?" While another replied to someone else's enquiry about it, saying: "It really looks like Tropic Skincare Lip Fudge in Rosewood?"
Ultra-conditioning and reparative, this balm from Tropic Skincare is enriched with natural plant actives, botanical waxes and plumping ingredients like omegas 6 and 9. It's available in three shades including a clear option and a sheer rose, which looks to be Willoughby's favourite.
After further investigation and some tactical video pausing, we agree that it does indeed look to be Tropic's Lip Conditioner, specifically in the shade Rosewood - a sheer rosy colour. The white lid and frosted glass look of the container itself definitely seem to match, too.

The formula is moisture-locking and reparative. It features 26 skin-conditioning plant extracts, plumping omegas and a 'cocktail' of botanical extracts that lend your lips that glassy shine. The pot design means you need to apply it with a finger, rather than swiping it on like a stick format, but this allows you to apply as little or as much as you like.
As we can see, Willoughby just added a dab to her bottom lip and was left with a lovely tint and glossy finish - so clearly, a little goes a long way. Its size also makes it great for chucking in your handbag or travel bag for on-the-go touch-ups. You can wear it on its own or over one of the best lip liners - for added definition and a boosted tint.
Shop alternative to Holly's lip balm
Boasting conditioning ingredients like vitamin E and a flattering, glossy tint, these Hydra Jelly Pocket Lip Jams from Sheglam are a lovely under-£5 alternative to Willoughby's go-to. It's available in a few shades, but we think 'Fig Flirt' looks quite similar, and it comes with a cute little cushion-tipped applicator.
A celebrity favourite, the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask offers deep hydration and is available in a range of shades, but the classic Berry colour is definitely the most popular and iconic. Like Sheglam's Lip Jams, it also comes with a little spatula-style applicator.
If you prefer a stick format to a pot, opt for this classic Burt's Bees lip balm. It affords a similar rosy tint and is also said to be a favourite of Margot Robbie. Plus, it's currently under-£6 at Amazon.
If you're keen to add a few more tinted lip balms to your rotation, or already have Tropic's Rosewood lip conditioner and want to try something different, we've rounded up three more options, including the celebrity-favourite Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask.
