Boots has launched a collagen skincare line and we want everything
Even better, right now all of the products only cost a tenner
When it comes to products that will help turn back the clock on our skin, we're well versed in the benefits of the best anti-ageing serums and best moisturisers for dry skin.
And to add to our routines, Boots has just launched a collagen skincare range, and we couldn't be more excited to get our hands on it.
The brand notes that online searches for "collagen" have shot up recently, increasing by a whopping 1,570% in the last six months alone. So clearly the range couldn't have come at a better time.
The four different products – an SPF day cream, night cream, serum and targeted eye serum – promise to help improve skin's elasticity, firmness and smoothness for a more youthful complexion over time. This is, of course, all down to the hero ingredient.
"Collagen is a protein naturally found in the skin that contributes to its strength and firmness," explains Dr Ellie Bradley, Boots' Scientific Skincare Credentialing Manager. "Applying it to the skin is thought to boost natural collagen production by triggering the body to increase its collagen synthesis, enabling skin to repair itself.
"The end result is plumper and smoother skin – it also helps with the appearance of wrinkles." Sounds good to us!
All of the bargain products usually cost just £12, but are reduced for today only as part of Boots' £10 Tuesday offer. Shop the full range for yourself below.
