Prince George And Princess Charlotte’s Surprising Play Date Companion Revealed

A surprising play date for the Royal children has been revealed by a-lister Ben Affleck. The Hollywood actor explained to Graham Norton, how his son Samuel unwittingly ended up hanging out with Prince George and Princess Charlotte on a recent trip to London. Taking his kids to an indoor play centre, he noticed that the security was very tight, before realising that this was down to its very VIP guests. He joked that he could now tell his son that he caught a cold from the “future King of England”. He told how during the trip, where he was accompanied by all three of their children, they trawled the tourist sites, including Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle hoping to catch a glimpse of a member of the Royal family, so were shocked to get their Royal encounter somewhere far more normal. We would have loved to have been a fly on the wall for this.

Prince George stole the show earlier in the year on a fun day out with his parents at a military air show. The young royal looked adorable in his navy shorts and white t-shirt – but hasn’t he grown!

And the young Prince, who is often said to look up to his father’s career in the RAF, even got a very special tour inside a squirrel helicopter – the same one Prince William trained in in 2009. He also got up close and personal with the red arrows he enjoyed so much at his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth’s, recent birthday celebrations.

However, the busy day all seemed to become too much for a young Prince George at one point, as the two year-old had to be consoled by his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge. Don’t worry, though – it wasn’t long until he was all smiles again!

Back in June for The Queen’s 90th birthday, Princess Charlotte joined Prince George and the royal family for the Queen’s 90th birthday flypast – her first time on the Buckingham Palace balcony. And we were lucky enough to get a wave from the young Princess, too!

The Duchess of Cambridge was seen giving her daughter a kiss on the forehead, and affectionately sweeping Prince George’s hair from his eyes. The two young royals seemed enthralled with the RAF display, and George was spotted chatting happily to his father Prince William and even banging the balcony with his arms as he watched the air display.

The two young Cambridges are growing so quickly! Earlier this year Prince George and Princess Charlotte were pictured with their parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at an equestrian event near their home in Amner Hall.

The family spent the day at the Houghton International Horse Trials at King’s Lynn, Norfolk. They looked relaxed and happy as they enjoyed a picnic with James Meade, whose brother Harry was taking part in the trials.

Prince George was as cheeky as ever, pulling faces as he watched the trails. His mother was also spotted wiping his mouth after he had finished eating while he tried to wiggle away. In an adorable display of closeness, Catherine and George even co-ordinated their outfits, both opting for striped breton tops and casual trousers. Princess Charlotte was also dressed in blue, but she was kept warm in a cardigan and matching hair bow, while Prince William was seen holding his son and eating food from a paper plate. An onlooker described the family as: “Just sitting having a picnic and enoying themselves like everybody else.”

And it’s not just family days out that makes them just like your average family. At a Royal engagement, Prince William let slip a secret about his two children, Prince George and Princess
Charlotte.

According to William, the siblings love to read, and are big fans of popular children’s book The Gruffalo.

Prince William reportedly spent several minutes chatting to children, and one of them revealed that he had said: “His favourite book was The Gruffalo.”

But it’s not just that keeping Prince George busy. The rambunctious toddler is proving to be quite the speed demon as The
Duchess of Cambridge reveals the two year-old is “hard to keep up with”
since he was given a toy scooter.

Speaking to schoolchildren, Catherine revealed: “He’s got a scooter. He’s going super fast on it. It’s hard to keep up with him.

But don’t worry, one year-old Princes Charlotte also has her own interests! The Duke and Duchess of Camrbidge’s youngest child is already showing promise of becoming a footballer, her father claims.

“She’s a very good footballer,” Prince William told guests at a lunch reception at Wembley Stadium. “You hold her hand and she kicks it. Very sweet.”

What a pair!
