Visit the latest Michelin-starred restaurants

2015's Michelin stars have been awarded. Add these exceptional eateries to your must-visit list
For some seriously fine dining, there's nothing quite like the restaurants recommended in the Michelin Guide. The much-coveted stars are awarded only to the cream of the crop, and while some restaurants have lost their stars in the 2015 Guide (sorry, Nobu...), many have also been awarded their first star (including the City Social, pictured).
To help you with your next special-occasion dinner - or why-the-hell-not lunch - we've compiled a list of newly Michelin-starred restaurants that deserve a visit.
Fera at Claridge's, London
Fera has not only been recognised for its cooking but for excellent comfort. Expect a menu inspired by nature, with many ingredients coming from chef Simon Rogan's own farm. Book now (opens in new tab)
The Cross at Kenilworth, Warwickshire
The Cross at Kenilworth in Warwickshire started life as a 19th-century inn and is now an excellent gastro-pub. Head chef Adam Bennett began his career at the Dorchester and recently worked at the Michelin-starred Simpsons in Edgbaston, so it was only a matter of time until his own kitchen won this honour. Gymkhana, London
Gymkhana, nestled in London's swanky Mayfair, serves contemporary Indian cuisine with a focus on tandoori. The interiors are inspired by British Raj India. Book now (opens in new tab)
The Three Chimneys, Skye
On the Isle of Skye you'll find the Three Chimneys and the House Over-by, with a menu that features good Scottish ingredients - and of course, the best in fresh fish. Book now (opens in new tab)
The Star Inn, Yorkshire
Situated in the village of Harome on the North Yorkshire Moors, gastro-pub The Star Inn serves 'modern Yorkshire' food. Sample dishes include Harome shot roe deer cooked over charcoal with caramelised chicory tarte tatin, quince jelly, and juniper juices. Book now (opens in new tab)
Ynyshir Hall, Powys
Ynyshir Hall's head chef Gareth Ward joined from double-Michelin-starred Sat Bains in Nottingham, so he's got form. Expect local ingredients, cooked to perfection. Book now (opens in new tab)
The Crown at Whitebrook, Monmouthshire
The team at the Crown at Whitebrook use foraged foods such as pennywort, three-cornered garlic, bitter cress, wild onion and hogweed to bring local flavours to the plate. Their wine list also champions local wines. Book now (opens in new tab)
Kitchen Table, London
Tucked away at the back of gourmet hot-dog restaurant Bubbledogs is Kitchen Table, an exclusive restaurant where customers are seated at the heart of the action. It's supposed to feel like having an (exceptionally good-quality) meal at home - you sit in the kitchen and chat to the chefs as they prepare your 12 or 14-course menu. Book now (opens in new tab)
City Social, London
Paul Walsh was working for Marcus Wareing at the Savoy Grill when it won a Michelin star, and now he's repeated the trick as executive chef at City Social. A typical dessert would be rum baba with English summer berries and strawberry sorbet. Book now (opens in new tab)
Isle of Eriska, West Argyll
Attached to the five-star Isle of Eriska hotel, this restaurant is known for its extensive Farmhouse Cheese Trolley, with around 40 varieties of cheese. The team also have excellent local suppliers of fish and oysters. Book now (opens in new tab)
