The real reason royal fans might not get a birthday picture of Prince George this year
Prince George will turn eight on July 22
Prince William and Kate Middleton could choose not to release an annual birthday picture of Prince George in a matter of weeks in a bid to protect him from negative online comments.
- Prince George will turn eight on July 22.
- The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released an official photo of their children every year on their birthdays but were left "upset" when people mocked Prince George at Wembley.
- This follows royal news that Prince Charles was seen in Iceland, as fans joke he spotted a great meal deal.
Royal fans might not see an official birthday photograph of Prince George next week as Prince William and Kate Middleton are still "upset" at the comments they received after his most recent appearance at the Euros 2020.
The future King joined his mother and father in the royal box at Wembley and watched on as Gareth Southgate's team put up a great fight against Italy.
But onlookers were left baffled by Prince George's outfit, as he donned a suit to match his father's rather than an England shirt.
And now royal experts have claimed the debacle has left the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge questioning how much of the seven-year-old's life they should be putting in the public domain.
Speaking on True Royalty TV's The Royal Beat, Angela Levin revealed, "There are rumours that we might not see the photograph [of Prince George] when he's eight, because they've been so upset by the rudeness of people mocking a little boy aged seven, and I hope they can overcome that."

Prince George may be destined for big things as the Future King (although some royal experts have suggested the likelihood is fading), but Prince William has always made it clear he's trying to give his eldest son a "normal family upbringing".

"I want to bring up my children in a happy, stable, secure world and that is so important to both of us as parents," he told GQ.
"I want George to grow up in a real, living environment, I don't want him growing up behind palace walls, he has to be out there. The media make it harder but I will fight for them to have a normal life."
But that comes with its own set of challenges. And toeing the line between the public and private is something the couple are grappling with.
Royal watcher, Robert Jobson told Sunrise TV, "With George, he got quite a lot of social media attention."
"Some were critical about him wearing a shirt and tie like his dad, which I thought was very harsh."
"He has been very popular, but I think they are going to try and keep him out of the limelight a little bit."
"They are very conscious of that."
From Prince George's beaming smile on his seventh birthday last year to Prince Louis showcasing his artwork on his second birthday, the world has been treated to some of the best photographs of the royal children on their birthdays.
Only time will tell whether we'll see another one next week.
