This event was the first time since the death of Prince Philip at the age of 99, that Prince Harry and Prince William have been able to see one another.
‘United in grief’ Prince Harry and Prince William walked shoulder to shoulder at Prince Philip’s funeral as they both paid tribute to their grandfather's memory.
Although many asked, 'Can Prince Philip’s funeral bring the royal family back together?' Royal fans were unsure if the tension had truly subsided.
However, images of the brothers at today's ceremony may have eased some royal fan's concerns.
At the unveiling of the statue, the two Princes were photographed chatting with one another and smiling as they paid tribute to their late mother's memory.
Also invited to this event were various members of Princess Diana's family, including her brother Charles Spencer who according to Sky News, helped William and Harry orchestrate the event.
A statement revealed, "In addition to close family of Diana, Princess of Wales, members of the statue committee, the sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley, and garden designer, Pip Morrison, will also be present."
Princess Diana's sisters Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Jane Fellowes, Baroness Fellowes were also pictured at the event.

Following the event, Prince William and Prince Harry honored Princess Diana in heart-breaking post that was shared on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Instagram page.
The joint message read, "Today, on what would have been our Mother’s 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength and character – qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better."
