Carole Middleton has revealed how she’ll be making Christmas “magic” for her family as she throws herself into planning a “particularly festive” day this year.

Carole Middleton is known for her love of creating the perfect party with her exquisite decorations and Christmas is no exception for the Duchess of Cambridge’s mom. Having set up her party supplies company, Party Pieces, over three decades ago after being inspired by Kate, Carole has plenty of experience selecting the best finishing touches.

Now she’s opened up in a deeply personal introduction on her website’s Carole’s Christmas Picks page to share her choices for this year. And it’s easy to imagine these wonderful decorations hanging in her home this Christmas.

She excitedly declared, “And so the Christmas countdown begins! If, like me, you enjoy the build-up to Christmas as much as the day itself, you’ll love browsing our collection of decorations and tableware. I always throw myself into the planning, and it has been a pleasure to pick out some party pieces which will help you make Christmas particularly festive for your loved ones this year. December will be magic again!”

And Carole Middleton certainly does know how to spread a bit of Christmas “magic” with her festive picks, which would no doubt all look stunning at her Berkshire home. For anyone who’s already got one of the best artificial Christmas trees lined-up ready, why stop there when it comes to bringing the outside in?

Carole has picked out a magnificent Gold Foliage Christmas Garland—a wonderful choice to drape across your mantelpiece, Christmas table or even hang artistically from the ceiling.

This gorgeous gold garland is perfect to hang around your home this festive season and each leaf comes coated with a shiny gold foil finish to catch the light.

But if it's your front door that still needs some festive attention, then Carole Middleton's Christmas picks include a few of her favorite choices, including a Silver Mistletoe Foliage Wreath. Keeping to the metallic theme, this beautiful wreath can help bring some serious festive sparkle to your own home this year.

This foliage decoration is a must-have with its mistletoe, silver detailing and stylish ribbon which makes hanging easy. Simply hang it on your front door to catch the eye of passers-by or inside your home to add some extra sparkle.

And why not add a touch of added glamour to your Christmas celebrations with Carole's pick of a gold glitter table runner? With this gold decoration you can create the ultimate festive table for your friends and family to enjoy.

For an elegant festive look, simply layer this runner with a neutral-colored tablecloth and enjoy adding all your favorite plates, candles or flowers for the perfect Christmas tablescape.

Carole Middleton's Christmas picks certainly get you in the festive spirit and her own home would certainly look stunning with these in pride of place. Last year, Carole and Michael Middleton were expected to celebrate Christmas with Kate, Prince William and their three children after the Queen and Prince Philip announced they would be celebrating “quietly” together at Windsor Castle

It’s understood that this would’ve marked the first time the Cambridges had spent Christmas with the Middletons since 2016.

However with the change in lockdown restrictions, it’s believed that Prince William, Kate and their children instead spent Christmas together at Anmer Hall. This year, the Queen is reportedly looking forward to hosting Christmas once again at Sandringham, where the Royal Family traditionally gathers en masse.

This will be the first Christmas since Prince Philip’s death and it’s likely that many of the Queen’s grandchildren and their families, including Prince William and Kate, will be in attendance.

But while Carole might not end up hosting her eldest daughter for the big day itself, Kate might well visit another time during the festive season. So could her sister Pippa Middleton, her husband James Matthews and their two children, and her brother James Middleton, who married his fiancée Alizée Thevenet in France earlier this year.

Either way, Carole Middleton's home is sure to look amazing as the countdown to Christmas begins!
