Ruth Langsford reveals the one thing she 'can't be bothered' to do during lockdown

Ruth Langsford has admitted there's one part of her usual routine that - like many of us at the moment - she doesn't have the energy for.

The This Morning presenter took to Instagram on Sunday to tell her followers she hasn't washed her hair.

Speaking to the camera during her daily dog walk, she said, 'Afternoon. Still haven't washed my hair. I can't be bothered.'

She added, 'All I do is clean and hoover and then walk the dog and then do some ironing. Yeah, it's all good fun.'

Ruth was quickly praised by her pals.

Her Loose Women colleague, Saira Khan, commented, 'You look so relaxed and happy,' while presenter Lucy Alexander also admitted, 'I never wash my hair.'

Ruth's husband, Eamonn Holmes, recently revealed how doing housework helps Ruth cope in lockdown.

He said, 'I'm pleased because she works so hard at everything she does.

'She's certainly running this house like a military operation. It's her way of dealing with the scariness of it all.'

Ruth and Eamonn have been self-isolating with their 18-year-old son Jack at their Surrey home, while presenting This Morning on Fridays.

And this week, Ruth is also returning to Loose Women.

The panellists are back today for the first live studio show since coming off air six weeks ago amid the coronavirus pandemic.

In order to adhere to social distancing rules, there will be some adjustments to the broadcast of the ITV lunchtime show during its first phase of returning to air.

Three panellists will host in the studio, with one panellist joining via video link from home.

Mondays and Wednesdays will be live shows, while the rest of the week will broadcast pre recorded shows, to limit the amount of crew at the London studios.

There's a reason to wash your hair, Ruth!
