Aldi to re-launch their popular three-wick Jo Malone dupe candle in time for Valentine's Day

Aldi's Jo Malone-inspired range has proven to be one of the retailer's most popular launches ever.

While we all love to indulge in treats like Diptyque, Jo Malone and Molton Brown candles, they can set us back quite a bit sometimes. So we can't help but stock up on Aldi's home fragrance.

First, came the outrageously popular Aldi candle. Then, shoppers will recall the much-loved room sprays, and their highly-anticipated body collection.

And now, the budget retailer has delighted their customers once more, by re-launching one of their most popular Jo Malone-inspired candles, the Pomegranate Candle Centerpiece.

The huge £9.99, three-wick Pomegranate candle was a sell-out success when it originally launched - and now The Sun have revealed that it's coming back just in time for Valentine's Day and a romantic night in.

It will reportedly launch on the website on 7th February, meaning there's not long to wait now! Aldi have certainly sold it to us with their description on the website, saying “Giving your home a cosy warmth with the flicker of the flame, the delicious smell will comfort you throughout cold evenings.” Sounds good to us!

The candle is a brilliant dupe for Jo Malone's Pomegranate Noir scented candle - although the higher-end version sells for the much more expensive price of £47.

But the candle isn't the only thing fans are clamouring over at at Aldi. They recently launched a range of skincare products, including a luxury Pomegranate body crèmethat looks super-similar to the Jo Malone original, Pomegranate Noircrème.

The crème, perfect for rejuvenating dry and tired skin, is however on sale for just £4.99 for 175ml - a fraction of the price of the Jo Malone alternative, which sells for £52 for the same size.

And the similarities between the two products aren't difficult to see. Both come in chic, black and white packaging - and the pomegranate scents are so similar, you'd be forgiven for getting them mixed up!

Aldi also stock a luxury hand and body wash (£2.88) and luxury hand and body lotion (£2.99), to go alongside the rest of their body care collection.

 

They're also offering up an eau de toilette, and while it willbe the most expensive item of the lot, it's still available for just £5.99 - a steal in comparison to original Jo Malone products.

All items from the luxe-inspired range are available in four classic Aldi scents, Lime, Basil and Mandarin, Fressia and Pear, and Pomegranate.

Back in 2016, a collection of candles from the budget retailer became the latest 'it' product to fly off the shelves at Aldi. Released just in time for Mother's Day, the candles become a sell-out success.

With a stylish glass vessel and sophisticated scents, Pomegranate Noir, Freesia and Pear and Lime, Basil and Mandarin -they were also likened to luxury brand, Jo Malone. But, at £3.99, they were considerably cheaper, causing a frenzy in the supermarket aisles. Reportedly the whole collection sold out across the country within hours.

But luckily, the cut-price candles are back in Aldi stores across the country and online - and they won't be going anywhere for a while!

The retailer finally restocked the luxe-copy candles last year, giving eager customers a second chance to get their hands on them. And they'll be staying put in stores for good.

In a statement the budget supermarket said: 'Comparable to Jo Malone, Aldi's candles offer mums a truly luxury treat for a fraction of the price.'

Adding that high-end scents 'recreate perfume classics representing quality, sophistication and style, allowing customers to lavish their loved mums with high quality products without breaking the bank.'
