Coming up with an idea for a great feature is what puts a spring in Sharon's step. She's worked in lifestyle magazines for more than 30 years and is still passionate about writing, editing and sharing information. She loves delving into zeitgeisty topics, shining a spotlight on inspirational women, discovering fabulous travel destinations and great books.

She currently commissions, writes and edits features across woman&home, Woman's Weekly, Woman and Woman's Own, managing a team that creates award-winning travel content and features that cover the lifestyle gamut from emotional memoirs to finance and current affairs. In the past, she's written for The Guardian, BBC Homes and Antiques, Practical Parenting and more. She has interviewed amazing women, such as author Isabelle Allende and musicians Peggy Seeger and Joan Armatrading. She also co-wrote The Beekeeper’s Bible.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, including her three grown-up children and shares her home cooking @honoroakkitchen. A keen swimmer, walker and singer, she's dabbling with writing fiction. For the future, she's dreaming of travel adventures at home and abroad, more time to be creative and world peace we can all hope!
