- 8 figs
- 1 orange, juice and zest
- pinch cinnamon
- a few small mint leaves
- 3 tbsp crushed hazelnuts
- 1 tbsp honey
- 200g (7oz) half fat crème fraiche
Thinly slice the figs and lay on a serving plate. Pour over the fresh orange juice, scatter with the cinnamon, zest, mint leaves and hazelnuts.
Drizzle with the honey and serve with a spoonful of crème fraiche.
Top Tip for making Honey-Spiced Figs with Hazelnuts
Halve the figs and place in a baking dish. Add the remaining ingredients leaving out the mint and crème fraiche. Bake for 10-15 minutes then scatter with the mint and serve with the crème fraiche.
