Princess Eugenie debuts pretty circle tattoo at the Platinum Jubilee celebrations - and this is the special meaning behind it
Look closely at the stunning pictures of Princess Eugenie during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations and you'll spot a new inking

Princess Eugenie was spotted at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral with a subtle tattoo behind her left ear.
- The pretty tattoo is thought to represent wholeness, unity and the circle of life.
- It's unclear when Princess Eugenie had the small circular tattoo inked, which she debuted this weekend for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Princess Eugenie and sister Princess Beatrice looked stunning in eye-catching ensembles for the Platinum Jubilee service of Thanksgiving as part of the Queen's ongoing Jubilee celebrations, with Beatrice's husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi paying tribute to his "phenomenal" wife and "wonderful" sister-in-law.
But there was one detail concerning Eugenie's appearance that you may have missed - unless you look very closely.
The royal debuted a pretty circle tattoo behind her left ear. It's unclear when the Queen's granddaughter had the inking done, but there's actually a history of the Royal Family and tattoos. In fact, the royals have been getting tattooed since King Edward VII got a tattoo in 1862.
Princess Sofia famously showed off an intricate sun tattoo between her shoulder blades on her wedding day and Lady Amelia Windsor has tattoos on her ribcage, left hand, and wrists.
Even Duchess Camilla has experimented with tattoos in the past! Back in 2011 when the couple were in Zanzibar she visited a henna tattooist while learning about environmental issues in Africa and had her own inking, though it wasn't permanent.
Princess Eugenie wore a bright orange dress for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations by designer Emilia Wickstead. Emilia Wickstead is a royal family favorite, with many of Kate Middleton's dresses being from the designer.

So what could this new tattoo mean for the Princess? While the meaning behind the tattoo hasn't been revealed by Eugenie herself, some have speculated that it represents the circle of life.
According to tattooswithmeaning.com, the circle has great significant for anyone who opts to have the inking. Their website reads, "Throughout history, the circle has held special meaning for humanity.
"A representative of the sun, the planet Earth, the moon, and the circle of life, the circle shows up in cultures and religions from around the world. As a tattoo, circles can be highly symbolic for their wearers."
