The Duchess of Cambridge has revealed her daughter has got a surprisingly sophisticated palate for a three-year-old.
While most children her age are usually happy with a box of raisins as a mid-mid-morning snack, it seems the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s daughter, Princess Charlotte, has developed a much more grown-up palate.
During a royal engagement earlier this month, mum-of-three Catherine admitted that her daughter has got fancy taste for a three-year-old because she ‘loves olives’.
But while you might be hard pushed to find many children who like snacking on such an acquired taste, the Duchess of Cambridge also revealed that her eldest two children are just like other little ones their age because they love making ‘cheesy pasta’.
However, pasta isn’t the only thing on the teatime menu for the royal siblings… according to Catherine, Princess Charlotte and Prince George’s all-time favourite meal is a trusted pizza.
The pair apparently love homemade pizza - mainly because they get to make their own dough and the duchess revealed ‘they love getting their hands messy’.
And while Charlotte and George are busy in the royal kitchens, they will soon have someone to pass their culinary skills on to. Not only will their little brother Prince Louis soon be joining them in making a mess as he turns one in April, but royal siblings are also about to welcome a new cousin into their gang.
All eyes are currently on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as they prepare to welcome their first child into the world this spring, and no doubt Baby Sussex will become close with his or her royal cousins as they all grow up alongside one another.
With the Duchess of Sussex having already celebrated her baby shower in New York recently, there is plenty of speculation about the gender of the new royal arrival, but the parents-to-be are sticking to royal tradition and waiting until the baby arrives to find out.
But while the nation gets excited about the new baby on the way, no doubt there are few people in the country more excited to meet the new arrival the little one’s three cousins.
Let's hope the Duchess of Cambridge keeps up her tradition of taking beautiful photos. We can't wait to see them!
