Prince William and Catherine have been married for eight years now and we love seeing the gorgeous couple looking so happy together.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s relationship has been closely observed by royal fans and onlookers, but the question is, what attracts the couple to one another?
What Prince William most likely finds so attractive about Catherine has been revealed and it is quite sweet.
In Marcia Moody’s 2013 biography, Kate: A Biography, the author describes what Prince William finds most appealing about Catherine.
Marcia writes, ‘While some have derided Kate for the simplicity and domesticity of her background, it has served her well, and it is sure to have been one of the things that was so appealing to William.’

How lovely! We have always wondered what it takes to be noticed by Royalty…
The biography writer describes the differences between the happy couple’s upbringing. She writes, ‘For Kate and her siblings, although they went to private school and had financial stability, their home lives were commonplace- they popped to the local shops and got involved with village life.’
William, on the other hand, writes Marcia, ‘lived in palaces, and his life was inevitably threaded through with centuries of tradition, formality and protocol. Throughout his childhood there were staff everywhere, press outside and the weight of his destiny lying heavy on his shoulders.’
We are sure the pair shared many an interesting story about their childhood experiences when they first met!
What we’d do to be a fly on the wall on their first date…
Prince William and Catherine met in 2001 whilst studying at St Andrews University.
In 2010, the exciting news was revealed that the pair were engaged and on the 29th of April 2011, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s beautiful wedding took place.
The happy couple and their three lovely children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are often captured sharing touching, adorable moments together.
