Prince William and Kate Middleton visited a quiet pub garden in Norfolk for a family meal

Prince William and Kate Middleton were glimpsed enjoying a quiet day out in Norfolk with Prince George, Charlotte and Louis, and the Cambridges opted for a very traditional meal.
- The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children enjoyed a classic British pub garden lunch in Norfolk over the weekend.
- The family were spotted tucking into burgers and chips after Prince William and Kate Middleton’s recent royal engagements.
- This royal news comes as Duchess Camilla is 'dreading' Prince Charles taking the throne for fear of Queen backlash.
Prince William and Kate Middleton delighted royal fans after they were pictured enjoying a classic British pub lunch with their three young children. The couple have had a busy few weeks of royal engagements, with Kate showing her sporty side as she took to the court with US Open champion Emma Raducanu. Whilst Prince William, who is second in the royal line of succession, recently inspired royal fans who dubbed him a “beautiful man” as he chatted about football initiatives.
Now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been glimpsed spending quality time with their children Prince George, Charlotte and Louis. The family divide their time between their London residence, Kensington Palace, and their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall. And it was in Norfolk that the Cambridges settled down to enjoy burgers and chips in a local pub garden.
In a picture published by The Sun, the family can be seen outside sitting on a wooden table, with George and Charlotte appearing to be wearing T-shirts, whilst Prince William opted for a relaxed blue shirt and navy jumper.
Princess Charlotte’s surprising favorite snack has previously been revealed and she and Prince George’s inventive school lunch menu reportedly includes everything from salmon to soup. Though they certainly seemed to be enjoying this very traditional pub meal during this heart-warming family trip.
According to the publication, a witness remarked upon the royals’ low-key visit, explaining, “It was amazing to see how down-to-earth the family were.
"It would have been easy to miss them - and just assume they were any other family. They were laughing and chatting and clearly enjoying each other’s company."

They went on to claim, "They were eating outside, I suppose because it was easier for the children. There was no security around, just them chilling like any other family. Wills had a burger and chips."
“They had their pet dog, a spaniel with them, and they were all laughing. There was one particularly touching moment where one of the children got upset because their food was too hot. William was so fast to reassure them and sort them out. It was fantastic to see.”

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s family day out comes as the Duke recently opened up in the BBC’s Prince Philip documentary about how Norfolk holds a special place in his heart after his late grandfather spent so much time at Sandringham and helped make such a positive impact on the surrounding area.
"For me, coming here and now living here, everything that he's done has led up to Catherine and I feeling that this is a part of the country we want to be in. We love this area, it feels like home, and that's because of what he's created,” he powerfully declared.
