Prince Harry is compared to Princess Diana for a sweet reason following his Vax Live appearance

Prince Harry appeared as a guest speaker at a US event Vax Live, where he asked the audience to “look beyond ourselves with empathy and compassion” and distribute the covid-19 vaccine equally.

Prince Harry appeared as a guest speaker at Vax Live in Los Angeles, an event hosted by Global Citizen at the SoFi stadium which took place in front of an audience of vaccinated guests. This is the first public event that Prince Harry has attended since his Orpah tell-all interview with his wife Meghan Markle. It is also the first time that Prince Harry has been seen publically since his grandfather, Prince Philip's funeral.

The crowd’s reaction to the Duke’s arrival on stage was immense as the audience erupted into cheers that lasted for almost a minute before the Prince could speak over the loud crowd.

Another fan compared Prince Harry's reception to the enthusiastic reactions Princess Diana received in her lifetime. They tweeted, “This reaction for Prince Harry in California at #VaxLive is really something. Somehow doubt that anyone other than the Queen or his late mother would get similar.”

During the appearance, the Duke of Sussex thanked frontline workers across the world. He said, “Tonight is a celebration of each of you here, the vaccinated frontline workers in the audience and the millions of frontline heroes around the world.”

He continued to say, “You spent the last year battling courageously and selflessly to protect us all. You served and sacrificed, put yourselves in harm’s way, and acted with bravery, knowing the costs. We owe you an incredible debt of gratitude. Thank you.”

He then turned his attention to a pressing issue and urged for vaccine equality during the Pandemic. The Duke said, “The vaccine must be distributed to everyone everywhere. We cannot rest or truly recover until there is fair distribution to every corner of the world. The mission in front of us is one we cannot afford to fail at and that's what tonight is about."

Fans loved this message from the Prince and many compared his strive for equality with his mother's efforts for equality during her lifetime.
