Days after Prince Harry's memoir was signed off, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's donation to the GoFundMe was revealed. The generous amount, offered in the name of their two children Archie and Lilibet, seeks to support the Zajfen family through their loss and grief and help pay for funeral arrangements. However, the fund was not set up by the family themselves, who have asked that 100% of the funds raised be donated to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in George's name.
George is survived by his twin sister, Lily, and his parents Julian and Kelly. Kelly is a former model who co-founded Alliance of Moms, which is an LA-based, "community of philanthropists who support pregnant and parenting teens in LA’s foster care system." Celebrity supporters of the Alliance of Moms include Kristen Bell, Jessica Alba, Selma Blair, and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

George's devastated mother shared news of his passing on her Instagram account. The heartbreaking post began, "My sweet baby boy. My world is shattered into a million pieces. I have little ability to breathe. Walk. Function. Sit. Stand. You were the light of my life. Your smile made the room so bright and your heart was the most perfect and sweetest."
She refers to all those who love him who share her pain, her inability to 'comprehend' this loss, and how she's trying her best for her family - especially his twin sister Lily - to go on.
Kelly also adds, "Thank you for my world and tribe lifting me and pulling me off the floor. I can’t do it with you."
