Prince Charles has inspired “love” from the crowds and fans as he beamed throughout a packed schedule of engagements in Morecambe.

As the eldest of the Queen’s children and future King, it’s only to be expected that the Prince of Wales has a huge amount of royal responsibilities and engagements to attend. And as his grandchildren Prince George and Princess Charlotte enjoy the start of their summer break from Thomas’s Battersea school things are only getting busier for Prince Charles.

Following on from a wonderful Holyrood Week, which included a garden party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the Prince traveled to Wales. Here Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla were greeted by rapturous crowds and Prince Charles got a sneak peek of Hay Castle as he officially opened it for the first time in its 900 year history.

Now the Prince of Wales has undertaken a series of brilliant engagements in Morecambe, winning the hearts of not only those who lined the streets to see him, but fans at home too!

Taking to social media, Clarence House posted several stunning photos of Prince Charles throughout his day in the Lancashire seaside town. Alongside these they provided insightful details about the future King’s schedule that day.

“In the Winter Gardens, The Prince of Wales saw extensive restoration to the Grade II listed building, after it was saved from demolition in 1985. 🎶”, the caption began. “The venue has seen performances from Elgar to the Rolling Stones!”

And that wasn’t his only stop during this exciting day as Prince Charles also visited the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service. It was revealed that they have worked with young people from The Princes Trust for over two decades as they delivered the Team Programme.

“Thank you for your tireless work protecting the community. 🙏” it continued.

During his time in Morecambe, the Prince of Wales was pictured joyfully greeting crowds of people lining the streets, as well as shaking the hand of a young fan and seeing the Winter Gardens’ restoration success first-hand. And the excitement visible on the faces of those he met on July 8th was mirrored in the delighted comments from fans who were quick to notice the “love” he had inspired.

“Oh, how they love you🙌💕💫”, one fan wrote admiringly as another echoed this sentiment, commenting, “So glad that people really love him❤️❤️❤️❤️”.

A third person was particularly enamored by the final snap of Prince Charles welcoming an adorable young fan as they responded, “Love the last photo 😍😍😍”.

“❤️Love Prince Charles”, someone else declared simply.

Prince Charles’ delight throughout this busy day has captured the hearts of many. And although it’s not known exactly when he’ll be spotted next, if his packed diary so far in 2022 is anything to go by, fans won’t have to wait very long at all!
