Kate Middleton's Bond dress at 007 premiere sparks Princess Diana déjà vu for royal fans
Kate Middleton's Bond dress at the No Time to Die premiere had serious Princess Diana vibes

Kate Middleton sparked sweet Diana memories with her 007 dress at the premiere for the latest James Bond film, after fans noted its similarities to an outfit worn by the Princess of Wales herself.
- Kate Middleton paid tribute to Princess Diana with her Bond girl dress at the No Time to Die film premiere in London on Tuesday, much to the delight of royal fans.
- The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in an extravagant Jenny Packham gown that looked noticeably similar to one worn by Diana to a Bond film in the 1980s.
- In other royal news, Prince Charles and Camilla are to welcome new neighbors for first time in 70 years.
If you thought Kate Middleton's Bond dress at the No Time to Die premiere looked familiar, it might be because you've already seen it before—sort of.
The Duchess of Cambridge embodied her late mother-in-law's glamorous style for the glitzy London event, stepping onto the red carpet in a sparkly gold gown reminiscent of an outfit worn by Diana back in the day.
Aside from a few small differences, Kate's Bond dress shared many similarities with the Princess of Wales's gown at the premiere for the 1985 Bond film, A View to Kill. Diana arrived at the Odeon Leicester Square Cinema in London alongside her husband, Prince Charles, wearing a silver lame dress by British designer Bruce Oldfield, paired with matching silver stilettos and a glittery clutch.

Like Kate's Jenny Packham dress, the showstopping frock was long-sleeved and cinched at the waist. The resemblance could be seen again in its elevated structured shoulder pads and plunging v neck, two defining features of the Duchess's stunning outfit. Even their hairdos were twinning it, with Kate Middleton's hair pinned back to emulate Diana's signature blonde bob.
This is far from the first time we've seen the Princess of Wales's legacy crop up in Kate Middleton's dresses. The Duchess of Cambridge has paid tribute to Diana with her outfits on multiple occasions over the past decade, embracing many of the styles worn by the late royal before her untimely death.
She famously nodded to Diana during the announcement of her first child, Prince George, with the Duke of Cambridge back in 2013, by wearing a Jenny Packham blue and white polka dot china dress.

The fashion choice was a clear reference to the green polka dot outfit worn by Diana when she brought Prince William home from the hospital in July 1982.
