It's back! How to watch the Great British Bake Off from anywhere

The Great British Bake Off has been serving up delights for 16 years now, and just when fans thought they couldn’t possibly have room for more, the show adds a new secret ingredient - Nigella Lawson.

Nigella has joined long-time judge Paul Hollywood for the show’s 17th outing, replacing Dame Prue Leith after nine years. Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding have stayed on as hosts, overseeing the antics inside the iconic tent.

The new series has already begun, with the 12 new bakers put to the test with Cake Week. If you missed the first episode or you just want to make sure you don’t miss another morsel, here’s how all you need to know.

How to watch Bake Off in the UK

If you're in the UK and have a TV licence, you can watch Bake Off on Channel 4 live as it airs from 8pm on Tuesday evenings, starting from Tuesday, September 22 right through to the final on November 24.

If you miss any of the episodes as they air, you can catch up afterwards through Channel 4’s free on-demand service.

The free on-demand service contains ads and if you'd like to go ad-free, you can pay to upgrade to Channel 4 Plus. As well as ad-free streaming, you also get select early access with this upgrade. A subscription costs £3.99 a month or £39.99 a year after a 7-day free trial.
