Kate Middleton's lipstick is every bit as sophisticated as the rest of the Princess of Wales' beauty look. So it's no surprise that the question on everyone's lips is, "what exact shade does she wear?" And we've got answers.
Whether she's visiting a charity or walking down the aisle at her own wedding, Princess Catherine always has her signature beauty look down pat. And where such perfectly polished style goes, others will follow.
Whatever the Princess uses, wears, or buys invariably sells out swiftly, as royal fans clamor to snap it up. From Kate Middleton's perfume to Kate Middleton's hair, her beauty choices are the epitome of elegance, imitated the world over – and this lipstick is no exception.
What exact shade is the signature Kate Middleton lipstick?
According to reports, Kate's go-to shade is Bobbi Brown Lip Color in Sandwash Pink. Followers of Princess Catherine's style will know she is said to be a huge fan of Bobbi Brown makeup and wore many of the brand's products on her 2011 wedding day.
We're not surprised. This quietly luxurious brand specializes in creamy textures and subtle, flattering shades. Sandwash pink is a particularly lovely example of this, a muted rosy pink with beige undertones that will flatter a huge range of skin tones.
If you prefer glossy lips, luckily so does Catherine, who reportedly topped the lipstick with Bobbi Brown Sheer Colour Lip Gloss on her wedding day, for an added pop of sheen.
And Princess Catherine isn't the only dusky pink lipstick fan in the family. Meghan Markle's reported go-to nude lip color is a slightly deeper pink with taupe undertones – Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Very Victoria, to be exact.
Both choices certainly have our royal seal of approval, and no wonder – a great nude lippie is as timeless as a tiara.
