Paramount Plus has officially launched in the UK and Ireland, nearly eight years after it first dropped in the US. 

The North American popular streaming platform will be available in England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland from June 22, bringing its Netflix-style approach across the Atlantic Ocean with a mixture of original and borrowed content. 

Here's everything you need to know about Paramount Plus, including what shows it offers and how you can enjoy all its goodies totally free of charge.

With Paramount Plus promising subscribers 8000+ hours of content, you can bet your bottom dollar this new streaming service will have something for everyone in the family. Like Netflix, it will offer original productions as well as iconic classics –meaning you can tune in for brand new shows or take a trip down memory lane by rewatching your favorites. There will also be a kids-only corner (with that much-needed parental control) to keep the little ones entertained.

How to watch Paramount Plus for free 

If you're already subscribed to Sky Cinema subscription as part of your Sky Q package, then Paramount Plus is yours to enjoy for free. Otherwise, you can sign up for a free trial of Paramount Plus, which will give you seven days of complimentary content before requiring payment. 

If you do decide to make the purchase, Paramount+ will set you back £6.99 a month. Alternatively, you can buy an annual membership for £69.90, which will save you £14 a year.
