Strictly Come Dancing has revealed the next three contestants in this year’s line-up.
The BBC dancing show took to Instagram to confirm the seventh, eighth AND ninth contestants set to take part in this year’s show.
Uploading snaps of the three new additions, the show revealed that CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual, Viscountess Emma Weymouth and American show RuPaul’s Drag Race judge Michelle Visage will be participating in this year’s competition.
Speaking of his upcoming appearance on the show, Karim said: ‘To be offered the chance to take part in Strictly is dumbfounding, I’m pinching myself!
‘I’m so excited to be Strictlified. I want the lot. The skimpiest of clothes, the widest of flares, the brightest of colours and the tallest Cuban heel a guy can find!
‘The more flamboyant the better… sequins galore please!!’
Viscountess Weymouth Emma Thynn also spoke out about her confirmed appearance on the show, saying: ‘I absolutely love watching Strictly every weekend and I can’t believe that I’m getting the chance to be on this series.
‘I know it will be such an amazing experience from start to finish. I can’t wait for the dancing and the fabulous outfits!’
Videoing in from Hollywood on today’s episode of Lorraine, Michelle said: ‘I’m Italian, so I would love Giovanni [Pernice].’
‘I am very excited, I am over the moon,’ she added. ‘I can’t wait to be dramatic and as amazing as I can be. I am 50 and I want to be presenting women of the age.’
The West End actress along with 19-year-old Karim, who started presenting on CBBC back in 2014, and Viscountess Emma, who is a chef, model and philanthropist and is married to Viscount Ceawlin Thynn, are the seventh, eighth and ninth participants to be confirmed on this year’s run.
The first three contestants were confirmed last week, with Strictly announcing that footballer David James, comedian Chris Ramsey and EastEnders star Emma Barton being revealed on the show’s Instagram.
Just the previous week the show also revealed that they had confirmed a replacement for longtime judge Darcey Bussell.
Taking to their Instagram page to make the announcement, they unveiled professional dance Motsi Mabuse, older sister of Strictly dancer Oti Mabuse, a the newest addition to their judging panel.
