Madonna has snapped up a stunning new home in the Hidden Hills from another celebrity musician, after successfully shaving some digits off the original asking price.
The pop legend will be moving into the former mansion of The Weeknd, who was initially selling his plush pad for a cool $21million.
The Blinding Lights singer, who moved into the newly built house in 2017, was happy to cut Madonna a good deal on the property, settling on a final payment of $19million.
The residence is unsurprisingly far more grandiose than your average American's house. Nestled in a gated Santa Monica neighborhood, the 12,547-square-foot estate promises Madonna a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city.

With seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, the Material Girl singer will have plenty of space to host overnight guests once Covid-19 restrictions are lifted. There's also no need to venture out for a drink, thanks to the thoughtfully installed bar and wine cellar. A firepit and a furnished cabana grace the outdoor grounds, offering the perfect setting for summer evening beverages and catch-ups under the stars.
The house also features a chef's kitchen that is bound to make any culinary enthusiast drool. Kitted out with two marble islands, two ovens, and a giant refrigerator, the expansive room boasts everything you need to whip up the perfect dinner party.
If Madonna wants to get a workout in, she can shoot hoops in the full basketball court or break a sweat in the private gym. There's also an infinity pool and a spa, for when she needs to relax after a long day at the recording studio.
The global superstar has been stationed in California since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, residing in a luxurious rented estate in the Coldwater Canyon. Her recent real-estate purchase on the sunny West Coast was likely driven by her upcoming plans to direct a biopic about her life, which will be co-produced with Diablo Cody. Madonna isn't tied to the States though – she owns several other properties in other countries around the world, including England and Portugal.
