Set in the economic and industrial boom of the late 19th century that history has recorded as the gilded age, the show of the same name transports viewers back to the days of operas and balls, Old Money versus New Money tensions, and lavish fashion.

Perfect for fans of Downton Abbey - the two shows share the same creator and writer, Julian Fellowes - The Gilded Age returned for its fourth season in November, having amassed a dedicated following and plenty of award nominations since debuting in 2022.

With characters and storylines heavily inspired by real-life society figures and families, including the likes of the Astors and the Vanderbilts, the sumptuously shot show follows a world on the cusp of change - families made rich through industry struggling for acceptance in a world of high society and heritage.
