Brad Pitt 'heartbroken and isolated' from kids amid Angelina Jolie 'abuse' claims
The Hollywood star is said to be feeling cut off from his six children as his divorce turns 'bitter'.
Brad Pitt is said to be feeling 'heartbroken and isolated' from his children amid ex Angelina Jolie's 'abuse' claims.
The couple filed for divorce in September 2016 following an incident on a plane when Brad allegedly lost control of himself and clashed with his adopted son Maddox, 16. After getting his life back on track, last week Brad faced a setback after it was claimed ex Angelina is "prepared to provide proof of domestic abuse" that is said to have occurred during her marriage to the star, as part of the divorce proceedings.
Sources close to the Mr. and Mrs. Smith star have said Brad feels isolated from his six children, Maddox, Zahara, 16, Pax, 17, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12, whom he shares with Angelina as it claimed the couple is warring over custody terms and financial arrangements.
Sources close to Brad, 57, who is fighting for 50-50 physical and legal custody of his six children, told Page Six, "Brad is heartbroken that Angelina has gone that route. There’s a lot of emotion left after their marriage. He has taken responsibility for his actions and owned up to his past issues, he’s stopped drinking."

“Brad and his camp has never attacked Angelina. But his camp feels this leak was calculated to sway opinion ahead of the conclusion of their trial,” the source continued. “Brad feels like he’s being more and more isolated from his children, and he’s devastated about it.”
It was reported last week that Brad's adopted son Maddox, 19, has testified against him in documents from Los Angeles County Superior Court’s Stanley Mosk Courthouse. According to US reports, Student Maddox 'has already given testimony as [an] adult in the ongoing custody dispute, and it wasn’t very flattering towards Brad.'

One source added, “He doesn’t use Pitt as his last name on documents that aren’t legal and instead uses Jolie. Maddox wants to legally change his last name to Jolie, which Angelina has said she doesn’t support.”
Brad and Angelina's daughter Shiloh, 14, has also reportedly removed Pitt as her last name on her private Instagram account and it's understood the judge is asking for the other children to testify.
Following the plane incident back in 2016, it was said Brad was “verbally abusive and physical with his children”. But Brad, 57, was later cleared of abuse allegations by the LA County Department of Children and Family Services. It was confirmed he had not committed child abuse when he got into an argument with Maddox on a private jet as the FBI investigates all airborne incidents.
Angelina had recently been having a clear-out of their shared artworks after she sold a painting at auction recently for a record-breaking $8.2m. Addressing the split last year, Angelina said, "I separated for the wellbeing of my family... I continue to focus on their healing.”
In 2017 Ange opened up about sobbing in the shower.
