Adele has treated fans to a rare photo from her Los Angeles home, after a two-month selfie hiatus.

The Hometown Glory singer took to Instagram last night to share an uplifting portrait of herself following England's defeat against Italy in the Euro 2020 finals, as well as some words of support for her native football team.

Standing in the garden of her Beverly Hills mansion, Adele can be seen with closed eyes and a relaxed smile while tilting her head towards the sun. The Grammy-award winner ditched her signature black dresses for yesterday's nail-bitingly tense match, wearing a red English jersey and dark skinny jeans to express her solidarity with her national team. She paired the casual outfit with loose blonde locks, gold jewellery and a St. George's Flag inspired manicure.

"You did us so proud! You brought our game home and brought us all together," she captioned the sweet post.

The message comes just days after Adele shared her ecstatic reaction to England's win against Denmark in the Euro 2020 semi-final, but it's been a whopping nine weeks since the musician has checked in with her fans face-to-face. The Chasing Pavements singer has kept a low profile on social media over the past year, sometimes going offline for months at a time.

Adele's weight loss secrets became a hot topic after she shed an incredible seven stone in May 2020, and it looks like the mum-of-one has managed to maintain her healthy lifestyle throughout the pandemic.

What isn't clear, however, is when Adele plans to release new music. Fans immediately flooded the comment section of her selfie post with pleas for another album, having now waited an agonizing six years for fresh material.

"Now take this heartbreak and turn it into music girl, cause we need the album!" one follower wrote.

"It’s time [sic] bring us all together with your new album!!" another user said.

Adele has been working on her highly anticipated fourth album for months now, but an official release date has yet to be announced.

The tracklist will reportedly lift the lid on the ballad singer's relationship with her ex-husband Simon Konecki, from whom she divorced in 2019. British chatshow host and friend to Adele, Alan Carr, is one of the privileged few to have had a preview of the album, and according to him, it's going to be worth the wait.

“I’ve actually heard some tracks on it. Oh my God, it’s so amazing," he told Grazia UK. "That voice is like an old friend. Because there are some people [on] the charts who sound a bit like Adele and you go, 'Oh they sound [like] Adele,' and then when you hear Adele's voice again you go, 'Oh no, there's only one. There's only one Adele.'"
