We’re just weeks away from the biggest night on the film industry calendar, and whilst we can’t guarantee our favourite British nominees will bring home a statuette, we can be sure that they’ll be taking home a heaving goody bag worth a jaw-dropping $200,000.
Last year’s Academy Awards saw all acting and directing nominees receive goody bags worth $125,000, filled with entire skincare ranges, designer sunglasses and other treats (pictured below).
This year’s record-breaking bag includes a 10-day walking tour of Japan worth $45,000,a $250 sex toy and a ‘Vampire Breast Lift’ worth $1,900 – a procedure that uses the patients own blood to give a “rounder cleavage without implants”.
The Hollywood elite will also receive a first-class trip to Israel worth $55,000, a year’s worth of unlimited Audi car rentals ($45,000) and a lifetime supply of Lizora skin creams ($31,200).
The press release from Distinctive Assets, the company in charge of distributing the gift bags, states that this year’s swag will once again contain “a blend of fabulous, fun and functional items meant to
thrill and pamper those who may have everything money can buy but still
savor the simple joy of a gift.”
