Woman & Home Book Club is thrilled to announce our next LIVE online event: In Conversation With Karen Swan.
On Wednesday July 22nd at 1pm, W&H Books Editor Zoe West will be chatting to Karen Swan about what goes into creating one of her epic novels.
Before becoming a bestselling author, Karen Swan was a fashion journalist. Now, 19 successful books later, she lives in Sussex with her husband, three children and two dogs.
Karen’s latest book The Hidden Beach transports us to the historic city of Stockholm and the beautiful archipelagos of the Swedish coast, where Bell Everhurst is working as a nanny for affluent couple, Hannah and Max. Looking after three children, life is ticking along, until Bell receives a call to say Hannah’s first husband has woken up from his coma, sending shockwaves through the family.
A story of forgiveness, letting go and second chances, along with well-developed characters and that gorgeous Swedish setting, it’s a perfect summer-read.
Zoe West has worked in publishing for many years and now has her dream job as the Books Editor of Woman & Home and Woman’s Weekly magazines. She is surrounded by ever increasing piles of books in her study at home, and loves interviewing authors about all aspects of their work – and finding out what they’re reading.
