These Women’s History Month quotes will empower, inspire and celebrate extraordinary women...
Women’s History Month quotes are the perfect way to celebrate remarkable women throughout the decades as the world honors their contributions to society, culture and history.
Every day presents a new opportunity for us to feel empowered and to celebrate the important women in our lives, both those we know and love and those whose achievements and legacies transcend time and geographical distance. Already this year many of us will have already begun to feel inspired by the best International Women’s Day quotes that speak to us in 2022. Some might even have shown their support to the women-run brands with charitable initiatives that can really make a difference to our world.
But this month especially there are plenty more opportunities to pay tribute to some seriously astonishing women. Every March in the United States, people do just that during Women’s History Month. This has been observed since 1987 and celebrates the cultural, societal and historical contributions of so many amazing women.

This year’s Women’s History Month runs from Tuesday March 1st until Thursday March 31st. After much lobbying for national recognition and to extend Women’s History Week, congress eventually passed a public law in 1987 designating March as Women’s History Month.
Each year the National Women’s History Alliance decides a new theme, with 2022’s Women’s History Month theme being Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope.

Unveiling this poignant theme for this year the NWHA explained that it’s “both a tribute to the ceaseless work of caregivers and frontline workers during this ongoing pandemic and also a recognition of the thousands of ways that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history.”
“The 2022 theme proudly honors those who, in both public and private life, provide healing and promote hope for the betterment of all,” they powerfully declared.
