Usually, people slip into their best leggings or pajamas after a night out, but not Kerry Washington. The actress has been known to wear some stunning looks and the Screen Actors Guild Awards were no exception.

After attending the virtual SAG Award ceremony, the actress didn't want the night to end and decided to take a dip in her pool. Rather than change out of her award ceremony clothes, Kerry simply felt too much like a mermaid and immediately jumped into her pool.

She then shared the experience with her followers on Instagram claiming the awards were going "swimmingly" in her caption.

Kerry served us with an old-Hollywood glam look, wearing an elaborately beaded Etro dress and a matching headpiece styled by Law Roach. The actress was also nominated for outstanding performance by a female actor in a television movie or miniseries for her performance in Hulu's Little Fires Everywhere.

Fans on social media went crazy over the look, and some stars couldn't resist commenting on the look.

Debra Messing was floored over the look but expressed her concern over the dress. "Stunning! Oh Lord, I hope you didn’t ruin that dress!" commented Debra Messing.

Another fan praised her dress and elegant makeup look.

"The pink was pretty too, but this blue is stunning!! Love the eyeshadow."

Kerry stunned audiences with her performance as Mia Warren in Little Fires Everywhere. For those who haven't had a chance to see the show, Kerry stars alongside Reese Witherspoon, who plays the picture-perfect Elena Richardson. If you love a good mystery, the show follows these two mom's as their families become intertwined.

The show is also based on the second novel written by Celeste Ng and takes place in Shaker Heights, Ohio, where Celeste grew up. The show has gone on to receive numerous nominations, including for an Emmy and NAACP.
