Summer has officially landed and, this time, it's coming in cocotte form. Le Creuset’s Fruit Cocotte collection takes everything we already love about the brand’s iconic mini cocotte and gives it a seasonal twist, reimagining it as glossy, sculptural fruit for the brunch table. We've got blueberry, strawberry and the brand-new peach in the collection, each one finished with textured detailing and charming leaf handles that make them feel almost too pretty to use.

Over the years, I’ve made no secret of my love for Le Creuset. I know it's expensive at times, and I’ve even done a deep dive into the question is Le Creuset worth it? My answer, when it comes to limited-edition, heirloom pieces like this is a firm yes. It's pieces like the Le Creuset Fruit Cocotte collection that will be passed down through generations, admired when you're hosting, and a simple piece that you can use to romanticise your everyday.

Built on the classic Le Creuset cocotte shape, the fruit cocotte collection is classic style with a fruity twist. It’s still practical: perfect for individual desserts, baked eggs, crumbles, smoothie bowls, and or stylish brunch servings, but it’s also made to be admired. Compared with a standard Le Creuset cocotte, these fruit-inspired versions bring a seasonal, giftable edge that makes them just as much a table centrepiece as they are cookware.

The Le Creuset Fruit Cocotte Collection is a limited-edition range that comes out seasonally, and sometimes not even annually. This year, alongside their traditional blueberry and strawberry, the brand has launched a peach design too. Asking me to choose my favourite would be like asking a parent to choose between their children. They're all lovely.

The Fruit Cocotte collection isn't really about solving a problem in your kitchen: it's about adding personality to it. Yes, they're practical enough to bake, serve, and store food in, but their real appeal lies in the experience they create. If you enjoy investing in pieces that make your home feel more thoughtful, your table look more inviting these are some of Le Creuset's most charming limited-edition releases yet.

  • Le Creuset collectors and gift buyers: If you already love collecting Le Creuset's seasonal launches, these are a natural addition. Their limited-edition status and sculptural finish make them more than just cookware. They're heirlooms.
  • Anyone who loves to romanticise everyday meals: Whether you're serving fresh strawberries after a market trip, building a colourful smoothie bowl, or simply trying to eat more fruit, these cocottes somehow make everyday food feel like an occasion. They're ideal if you subscribe to the idea that beautiful serveware makes simple meals more enjoyable.
  • Hosts who love creating a beautiful tablescape: These are made for entertaining. Fill them with olives, dips, soups, desserts, or seasonal fruit and they'll instantly become conversation starters. They're the kind of serving dishes that guests will ask about long before they ask what's inside.

What is the Le Creuset Fruit Cocotte collection like to use?

I've owned and tested plenty of Le Creuset mini cocottes over the years, so I knew these would be pretty as well as practical. I love how they dress up the everyday, making a simple bowl of fruit look Instagram worthy without me having to change a thing.

One of the most popular ways I've seen people using these cocottes are for individual cobblers (the Peach Cocotte is undeniably perfect for that). However, this year, they've become part of plenty of summer table styling articles and photoshoots. I've used them to serve berries after a trip to the "pick your own" fields near me, filled them with cherries and grapes for an easy fruit display, and even used them to elevate my usual breakfast smoothie bowl. It's a small touch, but serving fruit in fruit-shaped cocottes somehow makes healthy eating feel a little more like a treat. If you're someone who loves to romanticise the everyday, these are exactly the kind of pieces that bring joy to an otherwise ordinary meal.

RRP: £50
Design: blueberry, strawberry, peach
Material: glazed stoneware
Temperature suitability: -23°C to +260°C.
Oven safe: yes
Freezer safe: yes
Scratch resistant: yes

That said, they're much more than decorative bowls. The premium stoneware feels solid in the hand and distributes heat evenly, making them brilliant for individual portions of soup, baked eggs, crumbles, cobblers and desserts. During testing, I moved them from the oven straight to the table without any issues, and because they're thermoresistant from -23°C right up to 260°C, they're just as happy serving chilled yoghurt or ice cream as they are piping-hot French onion soup.

As with every piece of Le Creuset stoneware I've tested, the glaze is one of the standout features. It's exceptionally smooth, resisted scratches from spoons during my testing, and cleaned up effortlessly afterwards, even after baked-on food. They still look box-fresh after repeated use, which makes the 10-year guarantee feel well deserved rather than simply reassuring.

Everybody knows that I'm a sucker for a Le Creuset launch, but I'm also careful with where I spend my money. The Le Creuset Fruit Collection is an easy investment for me, because they're so much more than the everyday ramekin and because they're timeless too. They make hosting feel more thoughtful, summer tables look more beautiful, and they give getting your five a day a special, fruity twist too.
