Fans are loving Ruth Langsford's £39.50 Marks & Spencer occasion dress

Ruth Langsford

Ruth Langsford is one of our favourite stylish TV ladies, and during This Morning Live a few days ago she pulled it out of the bag yet again.

The Loose Women star appeared on stage over the weekend, to present the live version of the ITV programme alongside her husband Eamonn Holmes.

But many of her fans were left intrigued about her choice of outfit it seems, with Ruth admitting that she'd had lots of lovely compliments on it - so much so that she later revealed where it was from.

Sharing a picture of herself on her Instagram, she told fans,' Thank you for all your lovely comments about the dress I wore yesterday at the @tmliveevent It’s from @marksandspencer.'

Ruth went on to share that her nude heels were also from L.K.Bennett, one of the Duchess of Cambridge's favourite stores.

So while they're likely a little pricey, the M&S dress Ruth wore is actually brilliantly affordable.

The slightly pleated, baby blue bodycon dress is on sale at Marks & Spencer for just £39.50, which we reckon is a bargain for such a versatile piece.

You could make like Ruth and wear yours to work, or other professional engagements. Or, it would also be fitting for a more personal day out, such as a wedding, birthday or christening.

The M&S dress is available in short, regular and long, meaning there should be a perfect fit for all heights.

At the moment however, the dress is selling fast in the 'short' and 'long' sizes, although there are still plenty available in the regular fit. So if you want to get your hands on it, don't delay!

Ruth's fans certainly loved the dress on her, with many commenting to praise the look on social media. Her fellow Loose Women star, Coleen Nolan, even said, 'You look gorgeous!! Xx'

While another fan commented, 'Wow you look fabulous, DRESS is wonderful, 😄'

And a third said, 'Loved your dress fab colour!'
