It's officially leather trouser season. A great alternative to jeans, this polished trouser style adds texture and depth to autumn outfits, and Dannii Minogue's dark burgundy pair are a fantastic investment for the cooler weather ahead.

Spotted in a video alongside Trinny Woodall, Dannii styles her faux leather trousers with a cosy mohair striped T-shirt. Both items are from one of our favourite British clothing brands, M&S – and both are still in stock.

If you've ever hesitated on how to style leather trousers, this formula is seamless. Perfect for everyday, from lunch dates with friends to running errands. The dark burgundy trousers complement the rich brown shades in the striped knit whilst also tapping into the autumn/winter fashion colour trends for 2026. Dannii finishes the look with suede pointed flats, which also appear to be from the high street retailer.

It's worth noting that Dannii has paired contrasting textures – a fluffy knit with sleek faux leather – something to keep in mind if you're wondering how to style leather trousers or skirts this autumn. Wearing a single texture in an outfit can make your look feel one-dimensional. Leather has a sleek, light-reflecting finish, whereas her cosy knit has a matte, fuzzy finish, creating a stylish contrast.

It's not the first time we've spotted the singer wearing fabulous finds from M&S, and we were a huge fan of her palazzo jeans that she styled with a silky white shirt several weeks back.
