These before-and-after pictures for Elemis' new anti-ageing eye balm are incredible

Almost every day, it feels like, we're bombarded with adverts and news about a revolutionary new skincare product.

And while it's exciting to test out new releases, from creams to masks and serums, it can be exhausting trying to work out which works best for us.

But if you're looking for a product that can help to reduce wrinkles and puffiness around the eye area, we reckon this new Elemis product is a pretty safe bet - because after all, the proof is in the pudding, as they say.

Elemis recently launched a new Eye Treatment Duo, as part of their ULTRA SMART Pro-Collagen range, of which all products contain specially formulate algae, which can help protect and preserve skin against modern day stressors.

A 24-hour treatment team, the two eye creams were created to target signs of ageing around the eyes. You'll get two pots with your purchase, a morning balm to wake up the under-eye area by reducing puffiness and increasing the skin's brightness. And then, there's the evening cream, which aims to improve the appearance of deep-set wrinkles, whilst improving elasticity in the eye area.

And it seems that first tests are proving positive, with pictures showing the difference in the under-eye area after four weeks of use.

The under-eye area certainly looks smoother and brighter. But, as with all skincare products, to know for sure how it works on your skin, you'd have to try it out yourself.

If you want to pick up the eye cream and see how much it could benefit your skin, be prepared, as it'll set you back a fair bit of money.

For the two tubs, you'll pay £145. Although given that the under-eye area is such a small surface area, we reckon this would go a pretty long way.

The new Elemis eye cream has already got some hugely positive reviews online too.
